The Borgias S2~ Consequences of Choices

In Take 2: Film/TV Reviews on 16 April 2012 at 12:56 am

Recap of Season 1: El Fin

Episode 1: Consequences of Choices

LMAO!!! King Charles called Cardinal Rovere a clown. Well put!

If this is your first time watching The Borgias….then shame on you!!!! If you wish to refresh your memory of what has occurred last season then check out my blogs HERE.

Now, for the rest of us….. bow to the Borgia Pope

Take 2 in 5, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, #CrimeMurderFamilyAmen !

Whoever is in charge of the intro footage should be crowned by the Queen herself! It is riveting, captivating and downright despicably intriguing!

The scene starts off with an altar boy attempting to poison the altar communion. In comes Cardinal Rovere, the cardinal wipes the floor of the evidence and continues with the communion ceremony.. And as he goes through the people of the church he comes across Cesare amongst them. HOW CLEVER!!!! Cesare goes to where Rovere is suffering from a swollen tongue from the poison.  He informs ROvere that there is no hiding place that the Borgias will not find him. WHAT THE POPE!!! The assassin guy, Micheletto, put the altar boy up to poisoning Rovere and instead of paying the boy for following through, he drowns the kid in a nearby well. Well I’ll be an atheist if that wasn’t messed up! Lol. Read the rest of this entry »

@_2Deep_ Poem 8 of 30/30: Age

Poem 1: Safety Net

Poem 2: You

Poem 3: Pain

Poem 4: Zodiac

Poem 5: Pusher

Poem 6: Damn

Poem 7: Difference

Poem 8: Age

So, for those who are in the dark, April is National Poetry Month. As a poet, I participate in the tradition of writing a poem a day for thirty days. Some will be Haikus, some will be mega short, and some will be epic.

I know you are wondering why I am choosing to write so many haikus for 30/30. Well, I hardly ever write haikus and have been using the same ones for like 3 years. I thought that it was about time I step out of my comfort zone and practice writing in such a small and succinct format. I figure if you cant say it in 17 syllables you will bore me with the rest of your 3 minutes. lol. I hope you enjoy.  P.S. Expect different things coming from me. I am on a love spree with my poetry lately. It’s all about stepping out of my box this year.

Age

4/8/12

Poem 8 of 30

(Haiku)

“Age: More than numbers

Yours serves as a testament

Proof of God’s mercy”

Sincerely,

2Deep

This haiku came from a conversation I had with an atheist that I follow on Twitter. I find that in our differences we are very much alike. I can’t wait to have a conversation with hr as to why she doesnt believe that my God exists. There is wisdom to be gain in accepting people’s beliefs without forcing your own upon them. Sometimes, the absence of their agreement challenges my own beliefs and makes me work harder to stand firm in them and know that I am doing what is right for me. But i still will stand as an example for her if she ever choses to change her mind.

Difference

4/7/12

Poem 7 of 30

(Haiku)

“Atheist don’t see

Christians won’t let God take wheel

What’s the difference?

Sincerely,

2Deep

If you saw my statement about being pryed ( sp) out of my sleep at damn near 6 am to write a haiku in Poem 4, then you should know I am still awake. Poems, at least in my case, tend to come in pairs. So, thankfully, I have one more for you and then I can go back to sleep…. God willing.

Pusher

Had victim fed through I.V.

This haiku LITERALLY was in my dreams. I woke up because this poem said, “Write me, please.” The least I can say for being awake at 5:43am is that the poem was polite. So I hope that you like it. I, also, hope that the poem is 17 syllables. lol.

Zodiac

4/6/12

Poem 4 of 30

(Haiku)

I’m zodiac made

Designed to tolerate life

Pre-Taurus; no bull”
