BET Hip Hop Awards 2011~ Predictions

We have less than 5 hours until the best night in Hip Hop begins. Personally, I think that it should be called the Rap awards, but that is another rant. So, will you be tuning in at 8pm? If for nothing else, you should watch for the amazing host, Mike Epps.

LL Cool J is the honoree of the night.  He will join the list of other wonderful legends into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. This I have GOT to see! I wonder if he will perform….. My request is “Jingling Baby” or “Doing it, and doing it, and doing it well.” But I will be happy with anything. Lol

Performers for tonight will be:

Big Sean, Lupe Fiasco, Roscoe Dash, Wale, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, DMX, Heavy D, T. I., & Wiz Khalifa. And shortly after you figure out that T.I’s parole office granted him permission to perform you noticed that I said DMX…. Yes, DMX AND Heavy D will hit the stage, Lord willing. What? You know how these Hip Hop award shows go.

But what would the Hip Hop Awards be without the cypher line up. Rumor has it that the cyphers will include:

Based PURELY on the video quality, I think that Eminem will take this one home. I could be wrong. I see Chris Brown as runner up. But I didn’t vote so I have no say. Lol.

Wow, umm…. I have to say that I love them all. I would have to say Cee-Lo wins this one ONLY because of his versatility. He can rap, but he also has this soulful presence in his live performances. He isn’t just one note so you get to go on this journey with Cee-Lo.

I say that Busta Rhymes had everyone trying to learn his verse for the entire summer. Nicki also brought the female power to the table and reminded everyone, amongst a sea of males that females can be monsters as well. But if I had to choose just one, I’d choose Busta. But I think it is a tie.
