When I first saw the commercial for Five I think I was watching another station completely. Seldom am I watching Lifetime if it is not a Sunday or Drop Dead Diva. I am more than GRATEFUL that advertisements now occur on other channels, otherwise I would not have known about this wonderful event. I look forward to viewing these five short films.

I am torn between recapping and expressing what I think during each short I will see. I think I will do a combination of both. So, here we go.

This piece is starting off rather slowly. I get what is happening, but it seems to be dragging and taking forever for me to figure out who everyone is and what is going on. So Charlotte (Ginnifer Goodwin) is sick and she has a daughter,Pearl(Ava Acres), who doesn’t know she is dying. This is all taking place around the time that America is on the verge of walking on the moon.

So, judging from the slip of the tongue of a cousin, pearl learns that her mother has “bread cancer”. She is going away to her aunt’s house for a while. The same aunt that attempted to steal her mother’s necklace until Pearl caught her and called her out on it. The maid allowed her to run and see her mother when no one else would allow her into the room.

So Pearl grew up and became a doctor, I’m assuming she is into breast cancer research.

I am already over this episode and it hasn’t even begun yet. I just know that it is just more Draya drama.

Jackie, Gloria, and Laura are heading out to eat the day after the attack on Draya. Why is Draya still on the tips of their tongues? Hell, treat it like penis, suck it and keep it moving.

Malaysia and Imani meet to talk about Draya as well. Damn, do you females NOT even have a better topic? But why is Imani trying to cut out the connection that Draya was trying to have with Malaysia? Oh lord. Females, grow up! I swear I forget that these females have millions of dollars and the free time and resources to do things that most people could only dream of, but they act like they just stepped off the city bus. Shame.

Oh Lord, I keep forgetting that T.O has family in Alabama. Y’all see how we make them in the AL! lol. Cute men.

But I agree, those shoes for his cousin’s wedding are HORRIBLE!!! Just plain tacky! Wait, T.O hasn’t told his mother about his knee? But at least he wants to donate the furniture from his Atlanta house to the tornado victims in Alabama. Good look.

He just answered my question. I was wondering why he was selling this house. But he said that it is to secure his finances and to keep taking care of his family. Maybe it is a rich folks thing, but I don’t get this whole “take care of my family” idea. It is my idea that if I EVER become extremely wealthy The only people I would take care of would be my mother and my father…and MAYBE a sibling or two. But that would mean that I would take care of my sibling at Christmas time. All of this paying bills and damn near putting them on payroll is retarded and out of the question. You put in the work for your dreams like I did and it will pay off. I hate leeches. But that is just my opinion.
