WOWZERS!!!!!!!! I’m so cised!
The opening’s to District 78’s Wanna Get Hype with the top 20 looked amazing!!!! I twas so amazing to see them all back again. It looks like a Sonya Tayeh routine… I’m gonna put my money on it. Ryan looks amazing. The forehead crawl on to the stage by the bows was HOT!!!! The top 4 look PHENOMINAL!!!!! They couldn’t have composed a better top 4 unless God walked out and hand picked them himself!!!
I love this dress that Cat has on… it is simple. Yet cute. I think the yellow dress from last week screamed finale. AND I TOLD YOU!!! That was a Sonya Tayeh routine!!!! It smelled of her genius!
Who will win tonight? Tadd, Marko, Melanie or Sasha? I think that it will come down to the girls. But that is just my opinion. All of the judges were there: Lil C, Robin Antin, Tyce Diorio, Sonya Tayeh, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mary Murphy, and Nigel Lythgoe. I spotted Joshua, Season 4 winner, via his dimples sitting next to the choreographers in the audience.
The judges were asked for their final words…….Lil C said: Dancers who go through things, it affects some part of their artistry and he wants to congratulate them all for surviving and making the final four. Robin: So proud of all of them, and they’ve all won because they have made it this far and they are on to go out into the world. Tyce: From me to you, you’re in the pocket, and that phenomenal quality and personality that you are meet the talent. Sonya: Thank you because you made me a better person and a better choreographer. Jesse: They all possess a spark that no one can take away, and they are going to be amazing in this field. Mary: Extraordinary dancers, they are grateful, their humble and they have the best spirit and that is what has made them stand out in this competition. Nigel: Each one of you is inspirational to kids across this country. He also felt he was insensitive last night and he publically apologized for his comments.
They did a flashback of the auditions and wonderful performances. I still cant get over Nigel doing the Cat Daddy…..and did this gap-tooth girl just say she use to be a stripper? Lol. Amazing! I miss Wadi….and the judges kissing!!! Lol. Comedy! This season had the most memorable moments for me.
The judges picked their favorite routines. Mary picked… I think the Tyce Diorio routine staring Sasha and Kent to Michelle N’DeGeocello Fool of Me piece. YEP!!!! This routine is still very powerful. There are a few jolts but the emotion and the message is still there. It is as if I were watching it for the first time….LOVE IT!!!
The flashback of the May Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe enteractions was purely hilarious!!!!!
Nigel’s routine is…the Nappy Tab routine with Melanie and Marko to Leona Lewis’s I’ve Got You. PRICELESS!!! The routine is still amazing! And Nigel sitting in Jesse’s lap is hilarious!
Side note: Robin looks like a light skinned black woman with this tan. Just say no to the tanning bd….She’s never been this dark before. Anywho…. Robin’s routine is with Tadd and Lauren dancing to Queen’s Another One Bites the Dust, you remember, the heist routine. Watching these routines plays with my sensory organs, I feel Looney, like déjà vu. Lol
Okay, amd I the only one who is watching FOX wig out with the blue “fox” emblems flashing across the screen? And then some gremlin came in while Cat was talking….lol. Hilarious.
The flashback of the choreographer themes is comically genius…and my sides hurt from watching it. Lol
Lil C’s routine is…. Robert & Miranda in a Nappy Tab routine in the Busta Rhymes’ Break a Neck routine!!! OOOOOH!!! Was this the Woodpecker routine?!!!! Ewww Robert is messing up a little bit but he has gotten much better than when we first saw him. And so has Miranda. I loved this routine from the first time I saw it! Lol.
Cat gets to pick a routine this year!!! Her favorite routine is….Top 8 Circus routine… to Water for the Elephants soundtrack….beautiful!!! This was the opening routine the week that Jess went home. Just like the first time I saw it… I can find no wrong. Just enjoy it! This looks like something right out of Cirque de Soilel.
Matt Flint, the UKwinner f some show that I didn’t hear…lol…is performing to Michael Buble’s Cant Buy Me Love with Nick and Jess. FABULOUS!!!! They looks so amazingly handsome together. And this skill is off the wall! They make me want to pick my taps back up. That routine was soooooo HOT!!!!!! The ending was amazing!!! STANDING O!!!!! Nigel even said that it reminded him of the Nicholas Brothers.
Mary’s routine is…..Mandy Moore’s routine with Melanie and Neil Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of My Heart. I remember this routine and I love it. This is the one where she takes that major leap at the end right? The one that takes the breath right out of your chest? YUP!!!! She did it again… beautiful!!!
Jesse’s favorite dance is….YES!!!! THE MARKO APOLOGY DANCE!!! Sonya Tayeh’s routine with Marko & Allison to Jeff Buckley’s I Know Its Over. This routine had everyone in teas the first time through…and it is ready to do it again. Allison is amazing as is Marko… and I don’t know how they do it, but I am glad that they do! God bless them both. It was so amazing, that I forgot to hit record… I was watching it…lol
Tyce’s routine is by Sonya Tayeh ( AGAIN!!!!) the geisha routine with the Top 10 Girls. Chonique Sneed’s song I am so in love with this routine…lol. THEY STILL LOOK HOT!!! PHAB!!! Yes, I said PHAB!!!!!! Phenomenally Fabulous!!!
Flashback of Last Night’s performances: Melanie and Marko got the disco routine last night. Sasha’s Jazz routine was to DIE for. Tadd and Joshua’s Hip Hop routine…. Off the chain!!! The contemporary routine with Melanie and Robert…speechless. Broadway with Sasha and Marko just amazing! The Cha Cha routine with Tadd…ummm… yeh. Contemporary with Marko and Lauren…. Whoa! Jazz routine between Melanie and Tadd… hot! & Melanie looked HOTTER!!! Contemporary with Melanie and Sasha…..I had a flashback to my last scene in Anton in Show Bizness at AuburnUniversity when my friend Melanie and I walked out for that final scene. The Tadd and Marko routine was powerful.
All four of them walk out on to the stage and someone must go. I think Tadd will be the fourth place person. TOLD YOU! Melanie, Marko, and Sasha are safe until later in the show. Man he was amazing! I loved his versatility. Talented.
Fourth Place:
Lil C’s next fav routine is…..between Chris & Ashley in a Spencer Lift routine to Rachel Sweet Please Mr Jailer. Yeh, this was a hoooooot routine. Glad to see them come back and perform it.
OH MY GOD!!!!! Glee cast members were in the top 4 rehearsal!!!Brittany!!! She is my FAVORITE Glee cast member. So the Top 4 Got to see the Glee 3D premiere…lol. I am SUCH A GLEEK!!! Harry Shum, Heather Morris….yeh, they’re hot! I love the cross marketing…lol. Guess where I will be tomorrow! Lol
Nigel chose a Chris Scott routine with tWitch and SASHA!!!! I LOVE THIS ROUTINE!!! My DVR is recording now. Lol. Dorothy Moore’s Misty Blue just speaks to you, doesn’t it? I tell you that if this doesn’t win an award for something…. AMAZING!!! This is by far one of my FAVORITE tWitch routines. So beautiful and ugly at the same time. Emotional and soulful! HOT!!!!!!! I love this routine… not much can top this for me…lol.
The suspense of who the winner is , it is just KILLING ME!!!!! Announce it already! At this point I will NOT be disappointed who it is. These were my 3 favs early on and I made that known. So either one can take the winand I wouldn’t be the least bit upset because each of the deserve it. Next season they should take the best boy and the best girl. Just saying…..
Sonya Tayeh would like to see the Chris Scott Top 10 guys’ routine with the doors in the suits. This was like something out of LXD Nathan Lanier’s Velocity was the backround to this phenomenal piece. Did I mention that it was like something out of LXD…WHICH CAME OUT TODAY WITH SEASON 3….. The Ashes episode… YEH!!! HOT!!! I’m a fan, so sue me. The Extraordinary 7 episode was hot too… oh, the top 10 guys…lol. They still look sexy! WADI CUT HIS HAIR!!!! HOT!
Jesse’s next routine was with “the girl with the bangin’ bangs” doing the Tango…lol. Caitlynn and Pasha looked stunning the first time they did this routine and they look amazing now. But when does Pasha NOT look hot. I swear…. He can get it! It has GOT to be a sin in the eyes of God to be that talented, that sexy, and that just…amazing! Isnt that like the 11th commandment or something: Pasha shalt not be that damn HOT
Okay, we’re close…. I really have to go to the bathroom but I am blogging in real time and I am afraid that by the time I run to the bathroom and glide back across the floor, I will miss something. I MUSTN’T MISS ANYTHING!
Mary decided that Melanie & Marko’s statue routine choreographed by Travis Wall was hot!!! Ingrid Michaelson’s Turned to Stone was the FIRST amazing routine of the season and set the bar pretty high to top! I love this routine. Speechless. This was their first routine together. It is a little different without the white body paint, but the intensity is still there.
They pull all three out on the stage for the next level of results. I REALLY don’t want to know. The dancer in third place is……Marko! *tear* WOW!!!!! I soooooooo love him! I wasn’t going to predict ANYTHING! He is a wonderful dancer and he has the skills to win first place. He was the last man standing!
Third Place:
Nigel’s last favorite dance is ANOTHER Sonya Tayeh routine with Melanie & Sasha to District 78’s Game On… HOW FITTING!!! This is just a girl’s season! Sonya Tayeh routine’s filled the finale and the girls are gonna take home the gold! I am sooooo happy for them. They worked their butts off. I mean, it could go either way! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Of course there would be a commercial break before the results! My heart is pounding out of my chest as if I am in the competition.
