Lady Gaga will be back, amazing routines and I wonder who the guest artist will be tonight. Okay, truth is, I wonder what outfit that Lady Gaga will wear……lol.

Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, & Rob Marshall  (Pirates of the Caribbean)  are the judges for the night. Lady Gaga is not a judge tonight BUT…. she is performing tonight!!!!

I absolutely LOVE Cat’s dress. The whole peek-a-boo lace is cute. I wish her hair has more curls to it… but still hot!

Okay, this opening number is AMAZING!!!! The staging of it all just captures your eyes. With the kind of mood that I am in this morning, it just.. yeh….inspires. It has this Elizabethan feel to it, but it also has a 1910-20s flare as well. The zoom in on Jess’ face set the tone for the entire piece already. Oh yeh, it is set to Water for Elephants’ (Soundtrack) The Circus Sets Up. The crèmes, tans, and burnt sienna are amazing!!!  WHO CHOREOGRAPHED THIS?!!!! I am not even half way through it and I am just mesmerized. THIS IS EMMY MATERIAL!!! Oh my word!!!! That was beyond amazing! It was beautiful and touching. Yeh… TYCE DIORIO DID THAT!!!? He needs to do MORE of that. It was on point! I love it. Standing O!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Group for Results:  Sasha:  Danced to Terry Snyder’s Puttin’On the Ritz choreographed by Jonathan Roberts. She also closed the show with a stunning Sonya Teyah routine with Melanie to District 76’s Game On.   Caitlynn: Marty Kudelka choreographed this lyrical Hip Hop routine to Mario’s Let Me Love You. And duo with Tadd to a Jonathan Roberts piece to the tune of Ella Fitzgerald’s Top Hat, White Tie, and Tails.  Jordan: Tyce Diorio choreographed this piece to Tina Turner’s Nutbush City Limits. While she and Jess also performed a Jason Gilkinson International Ramba… Adele Set Fire to the Rain. Melanie: Mandy Moore did a piece to Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart. She also closed the show with a stunning Sonya Teyah routine with Sasha to District 76’s Game On. I have to admit. I already know who gets sent home but I won’t spoil it for you. (I am writing a week late and I saw it on my DVR by accident) lol. But in the same fashion as I always do it. As long as Sasha and Melanie don’t go home, I really don’t care what happens. Lol.  I am LOVING Sasha’s outfit, by the way. It is sooo modern and edgy! *throws up rocker fingers*.  I LOVE Jordan’s hair. It looks hot. Bwhahahaha The way that Jordan said “ I’m going to be very bad” backstage with Ade was hilarious!!! Lol. And America says……SASHA AND MELANIE ARE THE TOP TWO SAVED GIRLS!!!!!! I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Second Group for Results: Ricky: Jason Gilkinson did routine to Celine Dion’s River Deep, Mountain High. While he and Marko got gully to a NappyTabs routine in the key of Diddy ft Black Roby Mark Curry’s  Bad Boys for Life. Jess: NappyTabs created magic with Rihanna’s Take a Bow. While he and Jordan also performed a Jason Gilkinson International Ramba… Adele Set Fire to the Rain. Tadd: Mandy Moore crafted a heist to Queen’s Another One Bites the Dust. And duo with Caitlynn to a Jonathan Roberts piece to the tune of Ella Fitzgerald ‘s Top Hat, White Tie, and Tails. Marko:  Sonya Tayeh inspires us all with a touching routine set to Jeff Buckley’s I Know It’s Over. While he and Marko got gully to a NappyTabs routine in the key of Diddy ft Black Roby Mark Curry’s  Bad Boys for Life. Frankly, Scarlet… I don’t care who goes home as long as it is NOT Marko!!!! And the scene of his mother hugging him and crying last night was emotional and touching. And America says….. MARKO IS SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNEW IT!!!! Jess is the first guy up to dance for his life and he will be joined by Tadd as RICKY is SAFE!

My Top 3 People are safe! The rest is a mere battle of raw talent out on the floor. And who could ask for more than that?

Jordan doesn’t look too happy, while standing on the platform. Pep up diva! Pep up! You rock and have a great chance.

Okay. Last week when I woke up late (while the show was actually airing live) I woke up during this AMAZING PERFORMANCE! I saw one of the female dancers and recognized her IMMEDIATELY!!!! She is from LXD. So you know what that means? Christopher Scott is choreographing, and performing in, this brilliant routine! And…. Check back in on Hulu.com on August 11^th to check out Season 3. I already had it on my calendar…. You’re late! Bwhahahahahaa. I’m not even going to blog while I watch this again…. Just know it is HOT!. I want to be an in LXD. I wonder if they accept old dancers with pinched nerves….bwhahahahah these are just jokes. Let’s Go! Oh yeh, they’re dancing to Kerry Muzzey’s Bernini’s Angels. Okay.. I have to speak. The contortions guys, you know the ones that showed up on the ship in Season 2…yeh, them… they creep me out but get me hype at the same time!!! And the guy from Step Up 3D…. his isolations make me want to practice!!! They are just amazing all around and I LOVE IT!

Oh SNAP!!!! I was so busy rehearsing for my B. Smith’s performance and handling mime ministry at church that I forgot about National Dance Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just punch me in the face. I promise that I will be there next year. I promise.  I did not know that Eleanor Holmes Norton helped to pass the bill. Hmmmmm… interesting.

 Dance for Your Life:

Jordan:  Rihanna’s S&M. Hmm… I am not impressed by this solo. The moves are not matching the song for me. The look matches the edginess but that is about it. Still, great technique.

Jess: Kevin Spacey’s Mack the Knife. What is up with Jess’ obsession with Kevin Spacey? Lol. I mean, this was all about his twirls…. Nice, but I needed a little something more. I KNOW that Jess has more than that.

 

Caitlynn: Katie Thompson’s What Turns You On. Okay, so I finally semi-like her costume. I love this choice of song, and it matches her moves and I love it!!!! SO yeh.

Tadd: Harry Belafonte’s Jump In the Line. I mean, really!!! He is hanging off oc the stage scaffolding…. Amazing. What a way to use everything! Lol.  And the jump off the stage was so scary that it cracked me up. And then he took a victory lap of the studio…lol. I love Tadd.

 Wow! I am just happy that I do not have to be the one to decide who stays.

Lady Gaga hits the stage performing The Edge of Glory & You and I!!!!!!! The staging for this is just amazing! But what would you expect from Lady Gaga? The ponytail reminds me of Madonna just a little. But I LOVE her voice. It is so powerful. I am a Lady G fan on RECORD… which means I listen to her music because I love her voice and her music but I cant get into the videos and concerts, and meat wearing. But she is MEGA talented and a free spirit and I LOVE that about her.  I love this outfit that she has on. It is still unique and expressive.  I love the country music feel of You & I…. loving it! The way that she is taking this stage, with her being so petite is just AMAZING!!!! WOW!

Nigel said that they were disappointed by both of the girls’ Dance for your life performances. And with that, Jordan was let go this week and Caitlynn is safe this week.

Nigel said that jess is a sensational character. Tadd is unique and absolutely what this program is all about. And for this process Tadd is safe and Jess is being sent home.
